Crystal Mountain's Babinec wins PGA Golf Pro of the Year award
Greg Babinec, Head Golf Professional at Crystal Mountain Resort, has captured the 2018 Michigan Section PGA Golf Professional of the Year award. This prestigious honor is awarded to the professional that has demonstrated outstanding qualities of leadership and strong moral character. The individual must also maintain a substantial record of service to the Association and game of golf and be well-regarded as a model PGA Golf Professional. Babinec was chosen by his peers for the award based on his overall performance as a Golf Professional, service to the Section and the Association, leadership ability, image and ability to inspire others and his promotion and growth of the game.
Grit Shop to host Snowball Series
The GRIT SHOP will be hosting three colleges who will give softball and baseball clinics in the coming months.
Aquinas College will be putting on a softball clinic for players ages 10-16 on Jan. 12, 2019 that will include offensive instruction and a recruiting seminar for $45 per player.
Concordia University will host a softball clinic on Feb. 23, 2019 for players ages 8-18. There will be two sessions and the camp will cost $35 per player.
On Feb. 9, 2019, Adrian College is hosting a youth baseball clinic for players ages 7-12 and age 13. All registration information can be found at www.gritshoptc.com.
