We do not have stories online that were published prior to 1998. To locate a Record-Eagle story printed before 1998, contact the periodicals section of Traverse Area District Library (231-932-8500) or Northwestern Michigan College Osterlin Library (231-995-1060), both of which have microfilm records of our paper. The Traverse Area Historical Society also has original issues of the Record-Eagle and other Traverse area newspapers, dated 1868 - 1980. Please call 231-995-0313 for archive hours or for information on which dates are in the newspaper collection.
