TRAVERSE CITY -- A woman who fancied herself the Bonnie to her partner's Clyde was sentenced for a spate of Leelanau County crimes.
Thirteenth Circuit Court Judge Thomas Power sentenced Tosha L. Barbee, 22, of Traverse City, to 23 months to five years in prison.
Barbee pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree home invasion. A charge of home invasion was dismissed, according to court documents.
Barbee and her then-boyfriend, William Clyde Harris, 34, were arrested for five daytime burglaries that occurred in 2012. Authorities logged reports of 38 stolen weapons, in addition to electronics, cash, jewelry.
The duo exchanged the items for drugs in Genesee County, according to the Leelanau County sheriff's blog.
Harris remains in the Leelanau County jail and faces five home invasion charges, as well as associated firearms and habitual offender charges. He's scheduled for a preliminary exam in Jan. 2, according to court records. His attorney, Wilson Brott, could not be reached.
