Police continue to search for a motorist they believe struck a bicyclist, then drove away.
Traverse City police responded just before 11 p.m. Wednesday to a personal injury accident along Front Street. Witnesses told police a motorist drove erratically, then struck a bicyclist and drove away.
The vehicle, described as a silver Mazda, has a shattered windshield and was driven by a man, with a female passenger, police said. The bicyclist, 43, was taken to Munson Medical Center to treat injuries sustained during the crash.
