KALKASKA -- A Kalkaska man faces criminal charges after a two-week investigation into an alleged child abuse incident.
The man, 28, was arrested Wednesday on a four-count felony warrant. Charges include felony unlawful imprisonment, accosting a child for immoral purposes, possession of child sexually abusive materials and misdemeanor indecent exposure.
The suspect faces up to 15 years in prison, if convicted. His name is withheld by authorities pending arraignment in 87th District Court, said Kalkaska Police Chief Mark Bonofiglio.
The case involves a 15-year-old girl and the alleged July 14 incident began when the suspect photographed her at his apartment in Kalkaska, Bonofiglio said.
Police confiscated various video tapes and the suspect's computer as part of the investigation.
