TRAVERSE CITY -- The League of Women Voters of the Grand Traverse Area will meet to discuss various governmental issues.

The meeting is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Traverse Area District Library on Woodmere Avenue.

Members will discuss their positions on issues such as election administration, campaign finance, lobbying, judicial independence, term limits and redistricting. They'll also discuss funding of Michigan Supreme Court races.

League members from throughout Michigan will vote on these positions at the state convention held May 15-17 in Lansing.

The public is invited to Wednesday's meeting, but only league members can vote on the positions.
