TRAVERSE CITY — American Association of University Women, Traverse City Branch meets at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 5 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Enjoy a mini chili cook-off and hear local author Valerie Winans talk about travel writing and getting published. Members of the public are welcome.

Boy Scouts fundraiser

BEULAH — Area restaurants host a fundraiser during Winterfest on Feb. 9. Adults pay $15 for two drinks and one meal at the Cold Creek Inn, Lucky Dog Bar & Grille or Hungry Tummy. Meals are discounted for students and kids. Proceeds help fund the Boy Scout Troop 10 trip to Alaska this summer. Indoor Farm Market

TRAVERSE CITY — The Village at Grand Traverse Commons hosts its Indoor Farm Market every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Local farmers bring eggs, fish, meats, dairy products, honey, homemade breads and more. The market runs through April at the Mercato.

Meals for Musicians fundraiser

TRAVERSE CITY — Traverse City Central High School Eurochorale hosts the Meals for Musicians fundraiser from 4:30-8 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Boathouse Restaurant. Ten percent of food sales support the choir students’ trip to Europe in 2019.
