Rosé Challenge

Food drive

TRAVERSE CITY — The annual National Association of Letter Carriers food drive takes place May 11 in Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Wexford and Leelanau counties.

Homes receiving a postcard from their U.S. Postal Service mail carrier may leave bags of non-perishable food near their mailboxes May 11. Items help fill Northwest Food Coalition food pantries serving the six counties. People in non-participating areas can contact their local post office to learn more about donating.

Tea party May 18

INTERLOCHEN — All ages are invited to the annual Mothers, Daughters and Friends Tea from 1-3 p.m. May 18 at Interlochen Public Library. Light food, sweet treats and tea are served during the Peter Rabbit themed event. Time for crafts is included. Call 231-276-6767 to sign up by May 11.

Mother’s Day brunch

KINGSLEY — Rainbow of Hope Farm offers a Mother’s Day Dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 12. The meal includes barbecue pulled pork, potatoes, veggies, salad, bread and desserts. Adults eat for $12, kids ages 5-10 for $7. Families can also stay for the petting zoo, face painting and greenhouse explorations.

Vegan Italian cooking class
