Matthew Wittbrodt, of Traverse City, earned a Ph.D. in physiology from the Georgia Institute of Technology in May.

Taylor J. Lundberg, of Traverse City, made the Colby College dean’s list for academic achievement during the spring 2018 semester.

Ryan Clulo, of Traverse City, made the spring 2018 dean’s list at Marquette University in Wisconsin. Clulo is studying computer engineering.

Kyle Hogerheide, of Kalkaska, recently graduated from the Michigan Career and Technical Institute, a program operated by Michigan Rehabilitation Services. He earned a degree in retail marketing.

Noah Lints and Zachary Zywicki, of Traverse City, and Travis Bridson, of Fife Lake, were named to the spring 2018 dean’s list at Alpena Community College.

Julian Dormitzer, of Traverse City, recently graduated from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. Dormitzer received a master’s degree in nursing.

Leonard Merrill, of Benzie County, and Eric VanThomme, of Leelanau County, recently graduated from the West Shore Community College Corrections Academy. This Michigan Sheriffs Coordinating and Training Council certificate program is for personnel supervising inmates in county jails.
