TRAVERSE CITY — Local law enforcement agencies today arrested three Saginaw men, the culmination of a major, year-long drug investigation, Leelanau County Sheriff Mike Borkovich said.
Borkovich said the Traverse Narcotics Team spearheaded the investigation, which included extensive undercover work and eventually led to search warrants used at homes in Leelanau and Benzie counties.
Borkovich said officers seized drugs, weapons and vehicles and arrested the men, ages 22, 35 and 40.
"Basically, we took some major drug dealers off the streets," Borkovich said.
Borkovich said he expects the suspects will be arraigned on drug and weapons-related charges on Friday.
