Addiction Policy Forum event

TRAVERSE CITY — Addiction Policy Forum’s Michigan Chapter hosts a Naloxone reversal training from 6-7:30 p.m. Jan. 22 at Elks Lodge. Naloxone is the antidote to opioid overdoses.

Nutrition series begins

TRAVERSE CITY — Munson Medical Center and Munson Community Health Center present a nutrition series starting at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 23 at Great Lakes Children’s Museum.

This session includes hands-on experiences and learning about healthy food. This program is included in the museum admission.

Dark money presentation

TRAVERSE CITY — League of Women Voters of the Grand Traverse Area hosts a public presentation from 6:30-8 p.m. Jan. 24 at Garfield Township Hall. Michigan Campaign Finance Network Executive Director Craig Mauger discusses “The Role of Dark Money in Michigan’s Politics and the 2018 Election.”
