A celebration of northern Michigan’s favorite fungi that features a carnival, a craft beer block party, a craft show, the Michigan Outdoor Recreational Experiences & Living Show, a 5K run, a morel seminar, a guided morel hunt, and food tasting events including a “Wine & Dine,” a Morel Breakfast and the Taste of Morels.

Fort Michilimackinac Historical Reenactment Pageant
A Memorial Day weekend tradition at Colonial Michilimackinac that features over 400 cast members re-creating events that took place between the French, British and Indian tribes on June 2, 1763. Other events include a period fashion show, shooting, camp activities, and a grand parade with 100 bands, acts and floats.
Frankfort Elberta Restaurant Week
A week highlighting the growing culinary offerings along scenic highway M-22 and historic Betsie Bay. Deals at over 20 participants, from fresh-baked breakfast treats to full-service restaurant meals.
