TRAVERSE CITY — Oryana’s “Summer Vegetable Extravaganza” cooking class goes from 6-8:30 p.m. July 11 at Grace Episcopal Church.

Menu includes carrot yogurt dip, salad and other seasonal dishes.

BEULAH — Benzie Area Zonta Club hosts the Shrimp on the Barbie fundraiser from 7-10 p.m. July 12 at Crystal Lake Golf Course.

Meal includes an appetizer and a choice of whitefish, cod or chicken from Steelhead Café food truck.

The evening also features live music, cash bar, silent auction, photo booth and games.

Kalkaska Bacchanalia set for July 20KALKASKA — The sixth annual tasting event Kalkaska Bacchanalia goes from 7-11 p.m. July 20 at the Kalkaska County Fairgrounds.
