Class of 1955 lunch

TRAVERSE CITY — Traverse City High School Class of 1955 meets for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 17 at the Elks Lodge. The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month through September.

Class of 1957 luncheon

TRAVERSE CITY — Traverse City Central High School Class of 1957 meets for lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 18 at the Elks Lodge. All area alumni are invited to attend.

Cherry-filled dinner

FRANKFORT — United Methodist Women hosts its annual “Very Cherry Smorgasbord Dinner” from 5-7 p.m. July 18 at the United Methodist Church. Menu includes cherry barbecue meatballs, cherry chicken casserole and beef burgundy over noodles. Cherry pie is for dessert. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 4-12. Tickets are available at the door. Proceeds support local missions like Benzie Area Christian Neighbors, Frankfort-Elberta Schools’ Anti-Bullying Program, Benzie/Manistee Salvation Army and others.

Garden 2 Table Dinner

TRAVERSE CITY — The Garden 2 Table Dinner goes from 6-9 p.m. July 18 at Historic Barns Park. Sugar 2 Salt chefs cook a four-course meal using volunteer-grown produce from the TC Community Garden. Pastie sale

BELLAIRE — Eastern Star Waldo Chapter #180 is taking orders for its Annual Pastie Fundraiser. Pasties are $6 each and come with gravy. Orders will be taken through September.
