According to a release from KorthaseFlinn, the Tompkins Insurance Agency has been in operation for more than 50 years. The Traverse City agency was owned by Steven Tompkins.

KorthaseFlinn has been in operation since 1926. KorthaseFlinn has offices in Boyne City, Petoskey, East Jordan, Gaylord and now Traverse City.

According to a release, KorthaseFlinn serves more than 21,000 customers in the northwestern Lower Peninsula.
