Marty Stevenson has joined Exit Realty Paramount in Traverse City. A Traverse City native, Stevenson has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Michigan Technological University. Stevenson is a Realtor who has helped clients buy, sell and lease commercial property in northern Michigan with a focus on the Traverse City area.

For Love of Water (FLOW) announced Mike Vickery and Lisa Wyatt Knowlton have joined the board of directors at the nonprofit law and policy center in Traverse City. Vickery is professor emeritus at Alma College where he was the founding chair of the department of communication and co-director of the Center for Responsible Learning. Vickery has a doctorate in communication and taught graduate and undergraduate courses at the University of Texas-Austin, University of Arizona, Texas A&M and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Knowlton has a doctorate in education with specialties in management and policy. She holds a master’s degree in public administration and has a bachelor’s degree in international relations. Knowlton has served as CEO at a trade association and a foundation. She is a Kellogg Leadership Fellow, adjunct university faculty at Notre Dame and Grand Valley State and has authored text on logic models.

Century 21 Northland announced several award winners. Andrea Galloup received the Master Ruby Award for 35-45 transaction units per year and the Quality Service Pinnacle award for a client satisfaction score of 95 percent. Shari Sutherland, who works out of the Northport office, and Jamie Grace received the Masters Ruby Award and Quality Service Award (90 percent overall score index) at the 2018 Great Lakes Broker Council Awards ceremony. Jon Becker received the Platinum Sales Achievement (30-34 unit transactions) and the Quality Service Pinnacle Award while Lilly Clark received the Silver Sales Achievement Award (20-24 units) and the Quality Service Award.

The Grand Traverse Bay YMCA promoted Tony Venticinque to senior aquatics director. He will oversee the management and staffing at the West and Central YMCA pools. Venticinque was previously the aquatics director at the Central location. Venticinque, who has a bachelor’s degree in general studies and a master’s in exercise physiology from Oakland University, has more than 29 years of experience in aquatics and is a Red Cross Lifeguard instructor and certified pool operator. He holds certification with USA Diving, USA Swimming, USA Triathlon and YMCA Swim Lessons. He will be assisted by assistant aquatics directors Megan Murray (West YMCA) and Ryan Slade (Central YMCA).
