A Benzonia man could face criminal charges after police said he threatened another man with a knife.

Traverse City police responded early Sunday to a felonious assault complaint at Union Street Station. A Benzonia man, 27, held a knife to another man's throat, police said.

The victim, 32, of Traverse City, backed away and alerted bar staff, who intervened and called police.
