Titan wrestlers fall in district finals

Traverse City West beat Alpena 39-29, but then dropped a 42-27 match to Escanaba in the district wrestling finals.

The matches were originally scheduled last week, but were postponed because of poor weather.

West had three wrestlers finish the night 2-0 -- Mike Ostrom at 103, Mitch Harrison at 112 and Brad Gillison at 145.

The Titans will have three wrestlers in Saturday's individual regional.
