Kingsley rolls to two dual wrestling wins

Kingsley earned a pair of Mid-Michigan Wrestling Conference victories over Traverse City Central's B team (84-0) and Forest Area (55-8).

The Stags (22-3) were highlighted by 152-pounder Cody Mudder's 2 minute, 47 second pin over Forest Area for his 150th career win. He is two victories shy of the school record.

Forest Area earned a 29-21 win over the Trojans in the other dual. Vatsana Phengthamkip (135), Jack Siderman (140), Cody Vickers (215) and Vai Taula (285) had wins for Central.

On Wednesday, Kingsley's Cary Tompkins avenged his only loss of the season when he beat Colten Miller of Chippewa Hills 6-3 at 189 pounds.

Tompkins, 39-1, lost to Miller in the first match of the season. Miller was ranked No. 4 at 189 in Division III while Tompkins was ranked No. 9.

Chippewa Hills beat Kingsley 39-19.
