TC defeats Alpena in wrestling dual

Mitch Harrison at 112, Brendan Casler at 140 and Matt Town at heavyweight all won by pin as Traverse City West defeated Alpena 48-20 in a Big North Conference wrestling dual.

Tyler Hyde won by a technical fall at 130 while Brad Gillison won by a major decision at 145.

Ian Hurst at 125, Dee Kirksey at 160 and Zack Skeels at 215 won by decision. Mike Ostrom at 103 and Zack Bragdon at 199 won by void.

West had four wrestlers win by pin in the JV match -- Kyle Schaub at 145, Kyle Harris at 189, Liam Curtis at 215 and Jake Patt at heavyweight.
