Wolves fall to Stealth

Stealth steal division title; TC falls to 8-2

From Staff Reports

TRAVERSE CITY — Capital City came to Traverse City Saturday and took away the North Division title.

The Stealth beat the Wolves 22-12 at Thirlby Field to lock up the No. 2 seed in the upcoming playoffs.

Traverse City (8-2) will have to wait until Monday to find out where it will play in the post-season.

Capital City (9-1) didn't lose after a 40-17 setback to the Wolves in the season opener.

In Saturday's game, Pablo Bocardo kicked a 41-yard field goal for TC. The Wolves also had a safety and a 24-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Aaron James to Jamarcus Martin.

With the loss, the Wolves will likely start the postseason on the road.
