Wolves fall in home opener

TRAVERSE CITY — The Lakeshore Cougars spoiled the home opener for the TC Wolves on Saturday.

Lakeshore scored a touchdown with 6:55 left for a 35-27 victory at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.

Traverse City (1-1) led 7-6 at the half and it was 21-21 at the end of the third quarter. Jonathan Craven threw for three touchdowns and ran in another before suffering an injury in the fourth quarter.

The Wolves will be on the road next weekend at West Michigan before hosting the Grand River Bandits on June 23.
