'Pilates for Pink' classes in Frankfort

FRANKFORT — Studio on Main will host two classes as part of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's "Pilates for Pink" national breast cancer awareness initiative.

Pilates 101 will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16. The introductory class is open to everyone. Pilates for Athletes will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, and is open to anyone who wants to enhance core strength, increase flexibility and improve posture.

Walk in for flu shot at mall in Traverse Traverse City — Flu shot clinics are being offered to the public at the Grand Traverse County Health Department's Immunization Station for everyone age 6 months and older. The site is located next to Subway in the Grand Traverse Mall, South Airport Road. Free seminar will focus on balance

TRAVERSE CITY — A representative from Fast Fitness will give two presentations on balance Tuesday, Oct. 19, at The Village at Bay Ridge.

The seminar will be offered at 11 a.m. in the East Building's main dining room and at 1 p.m. in the West Building craft room, 3950 Scenic Ridge, off Silver Lake Road.
