TC Bulldogs win homeschool title

LANSING — The Traverse City Bulldog Athletic Association homeschool soccer team won the Silver Division state championship over the weekend at Great Lakes Christian College.

The Bulldogs lost to the Summit Sentinels 3-0 and tied the LA Dragons out of Lansing 1-1 on Friday. That dropped the Bulldogs to the Silver Division, which they won Saturday on a points system, after beating the Faith Christian Eagles 5-0 and then losing to the Mid-Michigan Momentum 5-4.

The Bulldogs, who finished the season 5-10-2, had two players nominated All-State — Alex Hockins and Cole Crain. Isaac Foust received an All-State Christian Award for the tournament.
