- Century 21 Northland announced the addition of four new agents. Meagan Alvarado, James Hunter, Lauren Prentice and Katie Tester joined the company at its main Traverse City office.
Traverse City native Alvarado has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University with previous experience in advertising.
Hunter managed over 75 senior service properties, two hospitals, three banquet facilities and four restaurants.
Prentice has nine years of real estate sales experience.
She and her husband have lived in Traverse City for 22 years.
Tester graduated from Purdue University with a degree in management and marketing.
Tester previously worked in marketing with Subaru of America and Hagerty Insurance.
- Ford Insurance Agency received a Five Star Agency award from Fremont Insurance. The award is given to profitable, growing insurance agencies with high business standards and good customer service.
Ford Insurance Agency has an office at 920 S. Garfield Ave. in Traverse City.
- Chiropractors Julie Brons of Performance Chiropractic and Lea Piche of Piche Family Chiropractic completed the International Foundation for Nutrition and Health’s 100-hour Whole Food Nutrition certification program. Brons and Piche are certified as proficient in digestive, hormonal, immunity and inflammatory health conditions.
- Michael J. Sullivan, a Traverse City marriage and family therapist, was a guest lecturer at the University of Findlay School of Social Work in Ohio and a special presenter at the Western Pennsylvania Family Center in Pennsylvania.
