GT Road Commission refuses to show meeting agenda

TRAVERSE CITY - The Grand Traverse County Road Commission refused to release agendas for its public meeting set for Thursday.

A notice for the meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. at 1881 LaFranier Road, states agendas will be available at the meeting.A Road Commission employee said copies of the agenda will not be released sooner.

"The board decided not to release them before meetings," Rene Hills, a receptionist for the Road Commission said. "I think they will discuss why at (the) meeting."
