TCAPS superintendent says he'll retire

TRAVERSE CITY — Traverse City Area Public Schools Superintendent Steve Cousins said he will retire effective July 1.

Cousins has been TCAPS superintendent for the past four years.

"Cousins will continue to lead the district over the next three months as the Board of Education begins the process of selecting a new superintendent," TCAPS officials said in a press release.
