HARBOR SPRINGS -- A robber made off with more than $21,000 from Boyne Highlands resort.
Emmet County Sheriff Pete Wallin said a suspect armed with a small automatic handgun entered the main lodge before 2:30 a.m. Tuesday and stole the cash from the resort's office.
A night employee was on duty at the time, and Wallin said he was bound with duct tape.
The male suspect is believed to stand between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall. Authorities described him as slender with blue eyes and dark hair. He last was seen dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, cargo-style pants and black boots and wore a mask over his face.
Surveillance cameras captured the man's image.
