THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands — Lauren Elizabeth Kritcher of Traverse City and Kemmons Philip Feldman of Eden Prairie, Minn., exchanged marriage vows on March 30, 2013, on the beach of the Secret Harbour Resort. William Arnet, a local St. Thomas minister, performed the 4 p.m. ceremony. Lauren and Kemmons are affiliated with Park Community Church in Chicago.
Jennifer Ann Kritcher of Traverse City attended her sister as maid of honor. Dr. Andrea (Kritcher) Wu of Dublin, Calif., was her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom’s sister, Calista Shawn Feldman of Eden Prairie, Minn., and friends of the bride, Laura Link Zimmerman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Colleen Shirilla Mrazek of Chicago.
Mark Michals of Minneapolis served as his friend’s best man. Groomsmen was Nick Cannon, a friend of the groom from Schaumburg, Ill., and the bride’s brother-in-law, Dr. Ying Wu from Dublin, Calif.
The couple greeted guests at a 6:30 p.m. reception at the Sunset Grill, St. Thomas. They honeymooned on St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands. Lauren and Kemmons are living in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago.
Lauren is the daughter of Christopher Noel and Pamela Jean Kritcher of Traverse City. She graduated from Michigan State University in East Lansing with bachelor and master degrees in accounting. Lauren is employed by Grosvenor Capital Management, LP, in Chicago.
Kemmons is the son of Philip Dale and Charlene Kay Feldman of Eden Prairie, Minn. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., where he was an MVP player on the university’s varsity soccer team. Kemmons is employed at BMO Capital Markets. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Urban Initiatives, a health and education soccer program in Chicago.
