INTERLOCHEN — Heidi Marie Watson of Traverse City and Christopher Michael Dobias of Williamston, Mich., exchanged marriage vows on Oct. 6, 2012, at Frog Pond Village Chapel.
Heidi chose her best friend since childhood, Kara Jo Hay of Dearborn, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sylvia Harshbarger of Williamston, a friend of the bride; and cousins of the bride, Erica Cordell and Leslie Watson, both of Tennessee. The groom’s niece, Esper Dobias of Williamston, was the flower girl.
Christopher chose his brother, Benjamin John Dobias of Williamston, as his best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Graham of Phoenix, and Kevin Bisard and Tommy Pratt, both of Williamston. The bride’s brothers, Christopher Scott Watson of Traverse City and Saudi Arabia and Mark Patrick Watson of Lake Ann, were ushers. The bride’s nephew, Oscar Watson of Traverse City, was the ring bearer.
The newlyweds greeted guests at an evening reception hosted at Frog Pond Village.
Heidi is the daughter of Pat and Rick Watson of Traverse City. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Davenport University and is employed as a field representative with Mosaic Sales Solutions.
Christopher is the son of Bernadette and John Dobias of Williamston. He attended Baker College and is employed as a customer service representative at Sohn Linen.
