MACKINAC ISLAND — Nan Mack-De Lucia and Mark R. Dancer, both of Traverse City, exchange marriage vows on May 24, 2014, at the Hotel Iroquois. Tom Marks, a local Mackinac Island minister, performed the 4 p.m. nuptials.
Nan was attended by her sons, Spencer Mark of Traverse City, and Michael De Lucia of Baton Rouge, La. Barbara Nolan of Chicago was the special hostess.
Mark was attended by his daughter, Rebecca Dancer of Los Angeles, and his youngest daughter, Jessica Dancer of Traverse City.
Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was hosted at the Carriage House.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Esther Mack of Traverse City.
Nan received an undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree from the University of Louisiana. She is a teacher at the Grand Traverse Academy.
The groom is the son of Jane Strauser of Traverse City and Dick Dancer of Traverse City.
He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and a doctorate from Ohio State University.
He is an attorney with Dingeman & Dancer law firm.
