---- — CHICAGO — Jennifer Elizabeth Lefere of Jackson, Mich., and David Matthew Dakoske of Traverse City were united in marriage on Sept. 22, 2012, at St. Clement Catholic Church. The Rev. Ken Simpson of St. Clement Catholic Parish officiated at the 2 p.m. nuptials.

Julie Boyer of Downers Grove, Ill., and Katie Pickman of Nantucket, Mass., attended their sister as matrons of honor. Jennifer chose as her bridesmaids her sisters, Krissy Janz of Wixom and Maurine Schneider of Grand Rapids; her sister-in-law, Carey Lefere of Grand Rapids; and the groom’s sisters, Sara Dakoske of Traverse City and Emily Dakoske of San Francisco. Jennifer’s goddaughter, Adeline Lefere of Grand Rapids, was the flower girl.

The groom’s father, Chris Dakoske of Traverse City, served as David’s best man. Groomsmen were Dave Lefere and Jeff Schneider, both of Grand Rapids, Chad Janz and Austin Janz, both of Wixom, Brooks Boyer of Downers Grove, Ill., and Jake Pickman of Nantucket, Mass. Ushers were Ben Nemode of Chicago, Nikolai Valdmanis of Aspen, Colo., Dan Merritt of Charlotte, N.C., and Brandon D’Emidio of Atlanta, Ga. The bride’s godson, Quinn Boyer of Downers Grove, was the ring bearer.

The newlyweds greeted guests at a reception hosted at the InterContinental Hotel in Chicago. They honeymooned in Fiji and currently live in Chicago.

Jennifer is the daughter of Royal and Maurine Lefere of Jackson, Mich. She graduated from Lumen Christi High School in Jackson and received a bachelor of science degree in finance from Michigan State University. Jennifer is employed as managing director at The PrivateBank and Trust Company.

David is the son of Chris and Lori Dakoske of Traverse City. He graduated from Traverse City West Senior High School and received a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Michigan State University. David is a mortgage banker at Guaranteed Rate Inc. in Chicago.
