TRAVERSE CITY — Anna-Marie Visser of Traverse City and Joshua Lee Webber of Eben Junction, Mich., were united in marriage Sept. 15, 2012, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. James Hayden of Immaculate Conception Church officiated at the 2 p.m. nuptials.
Sarah Komindo of Byron, Mich., attended her friend as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole McParlan of Dearborn Heights and Teresa Asevedo of Novi.
Zachariah Webber of Marquette served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Joshua Komindo of Byron and Corey Villicana of San Luis Obispo, Calif. Ushers were John R. Visser III of Traverse City and Elijah Webber of Marquette.
Following the ceremony, an evening reception was hosted at the West Bay Event Center in Traverse City.
The bride is the daughter of John R. and Ruth Ann Visser of Traverse City. Anna-Marie graduated from Suttons Bay High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in human resource management from Central Michigan University. She also graduated from Michigan State University with a master’s degree in human resources and labor relations. Anna-Marie currently is in her second rotation in the human resource development program for Chevron in San Ramon, Calif.
The groom is the son of Randall Webber of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Carolyn Rehkopf of Marquette. Joshua is a homeschool graduate and also served in the U.S. Navy for seven years. Joshua currently is studying toward a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering through Western Michigan University.
