Jackiria — Chrenka

TRAVERSE CITY — Nur Kamilah Jackiria and Jason Chrenka were united in marriage on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2013, at The Boathouse restaurant. Aaron Murray, a friend of the groom, performed the 3:30 p.m. nuptials.

Sydney Grace Chrenka of Traverse City was the flower girl.

The groom’s brothers, Christopher Chrenka of Seattle and Scott Chrenka of Traverse City, served as best men.

Dinner followed the ceremony.

Nur is the daughter of Mohammend Jackiria and Mariam Ahamed Hussain of Singapore. She graduated from Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore and was employed by Procter and Gamble in Singapore prior to marriage.

Jason is the son of Allan and Lynn Chrenka of Traverse City. He graduated from Traverse City Central High School, received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Michigan, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a master of science degree. Jason is employed as director of Safeway Inc.
