TRAVERSE CITY — Holly Forton of Traverse City and Haider Kazim of Staten Island, N.Y., were united in marriage on July 13, 2013, at Visions at CenterPointe. Sarah Hendricks officiated at the ceremony.
Holly Edmondson of Traverse City attended her best friend as matron of honor. The groom’s daughters, Teagan and Makenzie Kazim of Traverse City, were flower girls.
Jaffer Kazim of Staten Island served as his brother’s best man. The bride’s brother, Nick Forton of Traverse City, was the usher.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception at Visions at CenterPointe.
Holly is the daughter of Pam and Rick Forton of Traverse City. She graduated from Traverse City Central High School. Holly received a bachelor’s degree in social work from Ferris State University and a master’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University. She currently works at the Grand Traverse Pavilions and Munson Medical Center.
Haider is the son of Asfia and Mohammad Kazim of Staten Island. He graduated from Michigan State University with a juris doctor degree and is a partner at Cummings, McClory, Davis & Acho law firm in Traverse City.
