ROYAL OAK, Mich. — Katie Kosko of Dearborn and Gregory Stein of Royal Oak exchanged marriage vows on Aug. 3, 2013, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Royal Oak. The Rev. Steven Wertanen officiated at the ceremony.
Carly Kosko of Dearborn attended her sister as maid of honor. Katie’s bridesmaids were Jennifer Flanagan of Chicago, Clare Adamus of Grand Rapids, Trisha Langlois of Hawaii, and Sarah Oxley of Traverse City.
Gregory chose his friend, Jeffrey Kemp of Royal Oak, as his best man. Groomsmen were Bradley Stein of Nashville, Tenn., Erik Stein of Bloomfield Hills, Karl Stein of Canton, and Craig Riffel of Royal Oak.
Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted at the Roostertail in Detroit.
The couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic and are living in Royal Oak.
Katie is the daughter of Jan and Jeff Kosko of Dearborn.
She received a bachelor of science degree from Michigan State University.
She also was honored as Student Teacher of the Year at both the state and national levels. Katie currently is a fifth-grade teacher at Wayne-Westland Schools.
Gregory is the son of Mary Beth and Chris Stein of Traverse City. He received a bachelor of science degree and a master of science degree in accounting, both from Michigan State University.
Gregory is a CPA and senior accountant at Price Waterhouse Coopers in Detroit.
