---- — CEDAR — Crooked Tree Ranch on Lake Leelanau was the setting for the July 6, 2013, wedding of Claire Kubinski and Todd Addis. The Rev. Paul Allen performed the 4 p.m. ceremony.
Claire chose her friend, Lyssa Freeland of Danville, Ind., as her maid of honor and another friend, Missa Backus of Minooka, Ill., as her matron of honor. The groom’s sister, Ashley Addis of Lake Ann, was bridesmaid. The bride’s cousin, Samantha Broutin of Rochester, Mich., and the groom’s cousin, Robin Lane of Maple City, were flower girls.
Todd chose his friend, Nick Groeneweg of Belleville, Mich., to serve as his best man. Groomsmen were Todd’s friend, Jonathan Williams of Belleville, and the bride’s brother, Joe Kubinski of Clarkston. Ushers were the groom’s cousin, Andrew Addis of Frankfort, and the bride’s cousin, Morganne Matheis of Waterford, Mich. The bride’s cousin, Branden Broutin of Rochester, Mich., was the ring bearer.
Following a reception hosted at the wedding site, the newlyweds departed for a honeymoon to St. Lucia. Formerly of Midland, Claire and Todd recently relocated for their jobs and are living in Kalamazoo.
Claire is the daughter of Dr. Michael and Patricia Kubinski of Clarkston. She graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory High School in Pontiac and received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.
Todd is the son of Frank and Lori Addis of Lake Ann. He graduated from Benzie Central High School in Benzonia and received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Todd also received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan-Flint.
