LELAND — Charlotte Ann Meeker and Brandon Scott Dornbusch, both of Traverse City, were united in marriage on July 27, 2013, at the Leland United Methodist Church. The Rev. Marshall Holtvluwer of Faith Reformed Church in Traverse City officiated at the 3:30 p.m. nuptials.
Laura Meeker of Chicago attended her sister as maid of honor. Charlotte chose as her bridesmaids Mary Hoksbergen of Grand Rapids, Marie Kerridge of Indianapolis, Koren Sonneveldt, Megan Umulis and Kara Dornbusch, all of Traverse City, and Krista Dornbusch of Detroit.
Brandon chose his friend, Sam Elliott of Royal Oak, to serve as his best man. Groomsmen were Austin Kerndt of Royal Oak, Garret Kerndt of Iowa, Harry Wang and Jason Lindberg, both of Chicago, Jesse Tsai and Jed Tsai, both of Seattle, Walter Meeker of Dayton, Ohio, and Adam Kroon and Alden Hoksbergen, both of Grand Rapids.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception hosted at the Leland Lodge. They honeymooned in France and currently live in Traverse City.
Charlotte is the daughter of Drs. Walt and Meg Meeker of Traverse City. She graduated from Traverse City Christian School, received a bachelor’s degree from Hope College and a master’s degree in education from the University of Michigan. Charlotte has been accepted into the physician assistant program at Grand Valley State University.
Brandon is the son of Raymond and Linda Dornbusch of Traverse City. He graduated from Traverse City Central High School, received a bachelor’s degree in history and Chinese from Michigan State University and a juris doctor degree from Case Western Law School. He is employed as an associate attorney at Stowe Legal Group in Traverse City.
