Karenda Kay Kreiser

KINGSLEY — Karenda Kay Kreiser, age 63, of Kingsley passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Munson Medical Center. She was born Feb. 15, 1949, in Flint to Earl Keith and Jessie (Skinner) Jewett. She was a graduate of Mesick High School. In June of 1976 Karenda married Blane Kreiser. Together they raised three children.

Karenda enjoyed reading, computer games, HGTV and collecting. When her children were school age she loved chaperoning school trips with them. Karenda was always talking about her kids and grandkids to anyone who would listen.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Blane; three children, Heather (Joe) Weisenburger of Grandville, Jason (Coreene Smith) Kreiser of Kingsley, and Nathan (Keanna) Kreiser of Interlochen; three grandchildren, Summer Hilton, Ashlyn Skurski, and Aiden Weisenburger; a brother, Randy Jewett; and mother-in-law Mabel Kreiser.

Karenda was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law Ralph Kreiser.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Mesick United Methodist Church. A funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m., also at the church. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Kingsley.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
