Voters renew Leland fire and rescue millages

Leland Township residents renewed two fire and rescue services millages.

Unofficial election results today saw a Leland emergency medical services and firefighting operations millage renewed by a vote of 168 to 47. A second millage renewal for funding of Leland EMS and firefighting equipment and training also passed by a vote of 164 to 50.

Elsewhere, voters passed a Charlevoix-Emmet Intermediate School District vocational-technical education millage renewal 1,281 to 544.

An Ellsworth Community School district millage renewal for building upkeep and renovations was approved 227 to 36.
