Two injured, one seriously, in M-37 crash

TRAVERSE CITY — A Traverse City man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash in snowy conditions on M-37.

Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Capt. Chris Clark said the crash occurred Friday about 5 p.m. on a stretch of road south of Chums Corners. He said a vehicle driven by a Traverse City man, 27, crossed the center line and struck another vehicle with a Traverse City man, 20, behind the wheel.

Both men were transported to Munson Medical Center for their injuries.

Clark said the 27-year-old seemed at-fault, but the crash is still under investigation. He said Munson listed the man in serious condition.
