Forum: Unprecedented storms more of the norm

(Continued)

Increasing carbon dioxide gas in our atmosphere is the forcing mechanism driving extreme weather occurrences. If we want to avoid even greater disasters in the future we must get a handle on our C02 waste stream. Please learn about Citizens Climate Lobby and their work to support Congress passing a national, revenue-neutral carbon tax. Yes, you pay little more for gasoline and heat, but once a year you get the taxes rebated to you just like a refund check on your income taxes. A national carbon tax will work. It will cut down on our C02 waste. Our grandchildren will thank us.

As I write this the worst tornadoes in November history are occurring. Freakish weather.
