Are you turning 92 this week?
TRAVERSE CITY -- The State Theatre in downtown Traverse City is looking for someone the same age as the theater to help celebrate Friday's birthday.
If you or someone you know was born on or around July 4, 1916, officials at the State would like to know so they can get help lighting the candles on a birthday cake. Call the Traverse City Film Festival office at 929-2971.
The theater, known at that time as the Lyric, opened for business July 4, 1916. A party with free cake will be held Friday. That's also the day "The Wizard of Oz" opens for a weeklong run.
