A killer dinner

MANISTEE — Seasoned actors will stage a James Bond-style, interactive murder mystery between the courses of a “Farm to Table” dinner Aug. 31.

The fundraiser start at 6 p.m. at the Ramsdell Theater, 101 Maple St. The meal will be prepared by Chef Al Frye from the Manistee Community Kitchen. Proceeds benefit the 2-1-1 toll-free telephone service residents can call to access community resources.

Honor farm market

HONOR — The Honor Farmers & Flea Market will host a weekend market Saturday and Sunday.

Book club lunch

TRAVERSE CITY — Paid reservations are due Thursday for the next luncheon meeting and program of the Village at Bay Ridge Book Club.

Katrina Head, author of “The Gifted Choice,” will speak at the 12:30 p.m. book club luncheon on Monday in the West Building dining room, 3950 Scenic Ridge. The cost for lunch and the program is $6. For details or reservations, call 932-9455.

MANTON — A Farmers’ Market with home-grown, in season produce, and a craft and flea market continues Wednesdays through Sept. 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Railroad Park. Vendors are welcome.
