Linda M. (Arnston) Rennie


ELK RAPIDS — Linda was born Aug. 6, 1942, and passed away Feb. 12, 2013, after a very courageous battle with cancer.

Linda attended school in Elk Rapids before moving to Lansing, where she graduated from Sexton High School.

After graduation she worked for Oldsmobile for over 10 years.

She married William "Sandy" Rennie on Sept. 11, 1971, and was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend.

Linda enjoyed photography, loved to travel and had a great passion for dancing. But most of all, she loved her family.

Her parents, Oswald and Dorothy Arntson, preceded Linda in death.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Sandy; children, Amy (Jeremy) Wood, Matthew (Amanda) Rennie, Johnathan and Matthew II; grandchildren, Adriana, Kieran, Austin and Haley; sisters, Deanna Arntson and Christine (Thomas) Fulger; sister-in-law, Roleen (Marvin) Carpenter; and several special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Covell Funeral Home, Elk Rapids Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m., at Kewadin United Methodist Church.
