Two remain in hospital after crash

TRAVERSE CITY — Two Traverse City residents remain hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash near Chums Corners.

Shawn Robert Kimbrough, 27, is listed in serious condition at Munson Medical Center.

Grand Traverse County sheriff’s Capt. Randy Fewless said deputies determined Kimbrough to be at-fault in the Friday crash on M-37 near Vance Road in Blair Township. His vehicle crossed the centerline and into a vehicle driven by Nathan Derrek Kulpa, 20, of Traverse City.

Kulpa is listed in fair condition at Munson. His passenger, Devon Mackenzie Holmes, 21, of Traverse City, was released from the hospital.
