Wellston man charged with B&E

TRAVERSE CITY -- A Manistee County man is charged with breaking into a home in Grand Traverse County's Long Lake Township.

Joey Brandon Covert, 18, of Wellston, is charged with breaking and entering a building with intent and entry of a building without breaking with intent. A preliminary examination is set for Nov. 16.

Police believe Covert went through a window into a home on Lake Meadows Circle in September and took a television, court records show.
