TRAVERSE CITY -- A post-Bioneers workshop will be held Saturday at the Oleson Center at Northwestern Michigan College.
Breakout sessions include the Grand Vision, building a worm bin, Bay Bucks (a Traverse-area currency), wellness-based health care, growing canola for biodiesel, water issues and more.
The workshops are open to everyone and will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Cost for the afternoon ranges from $5 to $10.
A benefit concert will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Artcenter Traverse City in the Village Grand Traverse Commons featuring Michael Beauchamp and the Barn Roughs, with an intermission wine tasting and art show.
