Beach Bums, Kings rained out

KALAMAZOO -- Wednesday night's Traverse City Beach Bums game against Kalamazoo was rained out.

A thunderstorm in Kalamazoo left the field soaked and the dugouts flooded.

The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader today, starting at 5:05 p.m.

Traverse City trails Kalamazoo by two games in the Frontier League's East Division.

TC's Bryan Cryer (0-0, 6.75) will face off with Trent Lare (3-2, 4.68) in the opener, while Ryan Gehring (3-3, 3.42) and Jeff Long (4-1, 4.59) meet in the nightcap.
