n The Bank of Northern Michigan announced three promotions and two new hires for their Traverse City office: Lyndsay Deery was promoted to client services manager; Rachel Nowicki was promoted to cash management officer; Ryan Popa was promoted to business banking officer; Cindy Carr joined the bank as executive assistant; and David Hilt joined the IT team as a helpdesk specialist based in Traverse City.

n Trevis Gillow, vice president, investments, of Raymond James and Associates, Inc. in Traverse City has been named a member of the 2014 Leader’s Club.

n Dennis Brodeur, vice president, investments, of Raymond James and Associates, Inc. in Traverse City has been named a member of the 2014 President’s Club.

n Chad Craker joined the staff of Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services as a pre-planning consultant and licensed funeral insurance agent.

n Nancy Albrecht, Dave Hauser and Jim Noller, all with Real Estate One, were awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation by the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council of the National Association of Realtors.

n Dr. David Lemak, of Leelanau Urgent Care in Suttons Bay, obtained the Certified Medical Examiner status from the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners to perform DOT physicals.
